On 23 March 2021, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and FPT Information System (FPT IS) signed the Memorandum of Agreement on the pilot of the computer-based admission test using Khaothi.Online platform.

The MOA shows the commitment of both sides to launch the new computer-based admission tests for students who would like to apply to study at HUST in the fourth quarter of 2021. From January 2022 onwards, the testing system will be officially implemented and expected to be used widely as an independent local testing approach.

As one of the pioneering universities in offering creative admission methods, HUST desires to innovate testing approaches by using a computer-based form in order to increase the chances for domestic and international students to access the tests.

FPT IS has worked closely with HUST to develop the platform while HUST professors contribute to create test questions. Following ISO 17024:2012 standards, Khaothi.Online comprehensively supports the digital transformation of testing, evaluation, and certification of personal competence. Addressing at the ceremony, Assoc Prof. Nguyen Phong Dien greatly emphasized the value of the platform and believed that it would significantly support many key stakeholders such as teachers, education administrators, and especially the Ministry of Education and Training. He highly believed that the platform would increase the productivity and efficiency of testing while providing essential data for decision-making.

Speaking on behalf of FPT IS, Mr. Duong Dung Trieu expressed his strong commitment to work with HUST on this project and expected that it will take a wider effect in the near future.

Mr.Duong Dung Trieu, Chairman, Board of Members of FPT IS remarked at the signing ceremony

The cooperation between HUST and FPT marks a significant step in the development of Khaothi.Online. It further opens up ample opportunities for different stakeholders to work towards advancing evaluation and testing systems for high-quality training and effective education services.
