On January 15, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan's Mie Prefecture to supply high-quality human resources and expand career opportunities for its students and alumni.

Mie Prefecture, Japan, known for their strengths in electronics, chemicals, healthcare, and biotechnology, is partnering with HUST to meet the global demand for high-quality human resources. This partnership, effective from January 2025 to March 2028, focuses on career development for students and alumni of HUST. Mie Prefecture will facilitate job placements through job fairs, provide information on local businesses, and support internships. Additionally, they will offer Japanese language courses and regular exchange programs for students.
