Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh, Vice President of HUST, and Ms. Cindy Chiu, Director of Cooler Master Vietnam, sign the MoU.
On December 13, 2024, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Cooler Master Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Cooler Master Vietnam headquarters. The partnership aims to enhance collaboration in training high-quality human resources to meet industry demands.
Under the MoU, the two parties will collaborate on talent recruitment programs, Chinese language training, scholarships, internships, and exchange opportunities for experts, faculty, and students. Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh (right) is presenting a special gift featuring the iconic C1 Building, the heart of HUST, to Mr. Thomas Chen, Chief Business Officer of Cooler Master.
Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh, Vice President of HUST, proudly stated, “The collaboration between HUST and international enterprises has significantly enhanced our education quality. We are always striving to train students to meet the ever-increasing demands of businesses.” Mr. Thomas Chen presents Cooler Master products developed in collaboration with NVIDIA to Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh.
According to Mr. Thomas Chen, Chief Business Officer of Cooler Master, the company is currently constructing a factory in Bac Ninh province, Vietnam, which is expected to start operations in August 2025. Cooler Master aims to recruit a significant number of high-quality workers graduating from HUST.
During the trip, the delegation led by Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh visited the Cooler Master’s factory in Taipei and worked with professors at NTU, Taiwan Tech, and Ming Chi University of Technology. The delegation also met with HUST alumni currently studying and working in Taiwan.
Cooler Master specializes in manufacturing cooling solutions for CPUs, GPUs, servers, data centers, telecommunications equipment, integrated cooling systems for gaming products and high-end computer peripherals. The company has over 8,000 staff members and operates in 37 countries and territories worldwide.
