HUST Collaborate with JR West to Advance Smart Transportation
On January 10, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with West Japan Railway Company (JR West) to advance research on high-tech applications, particularly artificial intelligence in smart transportation, and to support the training of highly skilled professionals in this field.

Facing a shortage of skilled labor, for the first time, JR West decided to collaborate with an education institution outside of Japan to establish training programs designed to recruit outstanding students, particularly in IT and AI, to accelerate its digital transformation. The partnership includes knowledge exchange, faculty exchange, joint research, career development, workshops, lectures, and other specialized programs.
