Viettel Digital Talent 2025: A Journey into the Future of Technology
On February 21, Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel Group) kicked off the 5th season of the Viettel Digital Talent Program at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), offering students opportunities for learning, career guidance, and research in nine technology-related fields.

Launched annually since 2021, Viettel Digital Talent Program is part of Viettel Group’s strategy to develop top-tier tech talent and drive digital transformation. Now in its fifth year, the program has expanded its training scope, offering students more opportunities in nine fields: Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Science & AI, IoT, 5G, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Aerospace, and Semiconductors. This year, the program aims to recruit nearly 500 talented candidates from Vietnam and beyond, with 50% expected to secure full-time positions at Viettel.

Participation in the Viettel Digital Talent Program among HUST students has grown significantly over four seasons, highlighting their increasing interest in technology. Starting with 153 students in its first year, the program saw steady growth, reaching an impressive 1,103 participants by the fourth season.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Dang Hoai Son, a 5G engineer at Viettel High Technology Industries Corporation, was very impressed by students of HUST. The students are eager to learn and tackle new challenges in cutting-edge technology, especially in a rapidly growing field with vast potential such as 5G.

Designed by top experts at Viettel Group, the Viettel Digital Talent Program helps young talent unlock their potential and develop expertise in high-tech fields. The program offers hands-on experience and valuable knowledge to third- and fourth-year students, as well as outstanding recent graduates in IT. Furthermore, it reflects the strong strategic partnership between HUST and Viettel, two leading institutions in Vietnam’s engineering and technology sectors.
 
Viettel Digital Talent will conduct an entry evaluation for students at HUST from March 15 to 16.
