"The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria congratulates Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Hanoi, Vietnam to their 65th anniversary. In the year 2000, a BOKU delegation visited your university for the first time. And with this visit, we were able to establish the cooperation which turned out to be extremely successful. As one of the highlights of this collaboration, we were one of the founding members of the collaboration network between European and ASEAN universities, the famous ASEA-UNINET. In addition to ASEA-UNINET, we have bilateral collaborations in the fields of Safety in Food Chain, Biotechnology and Watershed Management. I am proud to say that more than 10 staff members from your university got their training at BOKU in different areas. And in addition, our research units were able to establish bilateral links to promote science and technology. BOKU really hopes that this excellent collaboration will continue or even further elaborated. And I would like to congratulate the Hanoi University of Science and Technology to the 65th anniversary. I do hope that we will visit your university soon"
