Excellent Engineer Training Program in Aerospace Engineering

Excellent Engineer Training Program - PFIEV is the only program in Vietnam awarded by the Commission of French Engineers (Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur - CTI) and European Engineers Programs accreditation agency. (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education ENAEE) recognizes European quality brand EUR-ACE Master.

Since 2016, graduates of PFIEV programs have been recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training as equivalent to a Master's degree and only need to complete a 6 months theses to receive a Master's Degree in Science from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST)

At HUST, there are 03 PFIEV training programs including: Aerospace Engineering; Information and Communication System; Informatics Industry.

Highlights

• PFIEV - Aerospace Engineering Program was opened by the HUST in 1999. Up to now, there have been 14 promotions of PFIEV - Aerospace Engineers (with about 70% of graduates working in the field of Aviation), contributing an important part to high quality human resources for Vietnam Aviation industry.

• The program was built in cooperation with National Aviation Engineering University ENSMA-ISAE (French Republic). Students have a transfer opportunity to obtain an engineering degree from ENSMA-ISAE University (parallel) and other partner schools have an agreement with HUST.

Job Opportunities

• Research and development engineers at domestic and international airlines, technical staff at aviation maintenance and technical services companies; domestic and international airports; 

• Research staff at universities, R&D institutes; Research centers of corporations and companies in the field of Mechanical Engineering;

• Officials at civil aviation agencies, civil aviation departments

100% of students have jobs after 6 months of graduation.According to the survey of graduates in 2017 and 2018, the salary of just graduates is about 12.5M vnd/ month;

Study abroad and scholarships opportunities

• Students have the opportunities to receive a graduation project internship or transfer scholarships at partner university (ENSMA-ISAE, France)

• Students have the opportunity to receive scholarships and financial support from the HUST and partner companies / organizations.

Students have the opportunity to participate in internship programs, student exchanges with European countries, Asia (knowing 2 English and French languages allows students to access more exchange programs). Students learn under the guidance of teachers from major universities, taking courses organized in conjunction with major universities around the world.
