HUST Hosts the ACM ASIACCS 2025

From August 25 to August 29, 2025, at Melia Hanoi Hotel, Hanoi University of Science and Technology organized the international conference ACM Asia Conference on Computer and Communications Security (ACM ASIACCS 2025). 

The conference aims to advance scientific knowledge and share research excellence in cybersecurity, and also opens up new opportunities for collaboration.
  On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of Vietnam, Hanoi University of Science and Technology organizes ACM ASIACCS 2025, aiming to promote international cooperation in research, contributing to affirming Vietnam's position in the international scientific community in the field of cybersecurity and network security.

On his opening remark, Associate Professor Hoang Minh Son - Deputy Minister of Education and Training emphasized: “On behalf of the Ministry of Education and Training, I highly appreciate the efforts of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in organizing this event, as well as the significant contributions of the international research community through sharing high-quality scientific works. The research presentations and professional discussions at this conference will enrich our knowledge base and make important contributions to enhancing understanding and research capabilities in cybersecurity and network security in Vietnam and in the region.”
   Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training will continue to support scientific research activities and facilitate favourable conditions for organizing international scientific events in Vietnam. Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training also strongly promote and encourage more profound collaborations between Vietnam's universities and foreign partners in training and doing research in the field of high technologies, and newly-emerged technologies.

  ACM ASIACCS is an annual scientific conference sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). According to the statistics of Computing Research and Education Association of Australasia (CORE) in 2023 and Google Scholar Metrics in 2025, ACM ASIACCS is ranked A, among the top 10 prestigious and influential scientific conferences in the world in the field of cybersecurity and network security. 
 
The ACM ASIACCS 2025 International Conference is held in Vietnam. It attracted the attention and participation of more than 373 scientists from 34 countries, including many leading scholars in the world. Having this conference organized in Vietnam is a great honour and affirms Vietnam's increasingly prominent position in the international scientific community.
  In the context of rapid global digital transformation, cybersecurity and privacy issues have become top priorities for nations, organizations, and enterprises. Threats from cyber-attacks, data breaches, and challenges in protecting digital infrastructure and privacy require in-depth scientific research and innovative approaches. The presence of all of you today - the leading researchers around the world will bring diverse and profound perspectives on the challenges and solutions in this field. The knowledge and experience presented at this conference will be of great significance for the advancement of knowledge in the field of cybersecurity and network security.

After the review and approval process, the conference recorded 114 accepted publications out of 558 submissions, for an acceptance rate of 20.4%. To foster connections between Vietnamese experts and the international scientific community, the organizing committee has allocated 50 fully funded scholarships for scientists, researchers, and graduate students from Vietnamese higher education institutions.

The ACM ASIACCS 2025 program includes the main conference session, along with eight thematic sessions, featuring in depth topics in information security. ACM ASIACCS 2025 serves as a forum for discussing and disseminating updated knowledge in information security, featuring presentations from leading experts from the United States, China, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
