On the first day of November 2025, Hanoi's chilly weather and heavy rain could not dampen the strong, joyful steps of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) students heading to the Sekisho Job Fair 2025, held at the Ta Quang Buu Building.

Sekisho Job Fair – A Vietnam-Japan Bridge

This annual job fair serves as a strategic bridge connecting students, the university, and businesses. It is a place where students can directly interact with employers, listen, learn, hone their skills, and prepare for their future career paths.

For businesses, the Sekisho Job Fair 2025 is an occasion to meet, evaluate, and select high-quality technical and technological talent trained in HUST's dynamic, practical, and creative environment.
“The Sekisho Job Fair is not only significant for recruitment but is also vivid proof of the philosophy of ‘education linked with practice’ that the University always pursues,” stated Assoc. Prof. Huỳnh Đăng Chính, Vice President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, during his opening speech.

The Sekisho Job Fair is an excellent opportunity for students to proactively approach businesses, showcase themselves, and explore the labor market. The Sekisho Job Fair 2025 offers not only job opportunities but also inspiration for every HUST student to take charge of their own future.

Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh, Vice President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, delivers the opening speech on November 1.
Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh expressed his hope that HUST students would make the most of this opportunity to converse, learn, and build a clear career orientation; hone their professional skills, soft skills, and especially their foreign language proficiency, particularly Japanese—a crucial factor for opening doors to employment in international enterprises.

“And above all, keep the spirit of learning, discipline, and creativity like the Japanese people, to become engineers, technologists, and entrepreneurs who carry the HUST spirit far and wide—not just to ‘get hired’ but to ‘create value’ for society,” the HUST Vice President emphasized.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Seki Masaki, General Director of Sekisho Corporation, noted: In the past 10 years, the number of foreign workers in Japan has doubled. By the end of 2024, the number of foreign workers in Japan reached 2.3 million; among them, the Vietnamese community is the largest, with nearly 600,000 people. The foreign workforce has become an indispensable part of Japanese enterprises. Through the previous 11 Sekisho Job Fairs, about 440 Vietnamese personnel have gone to Japan to live and work at various companies.

This number not only demonstrates the business community's confidence in the quality of HUST students but also attests to the widespread impact of the Vietnam-Japan cooperation in education and technical human resource development.

Over the past decade, Sekisho Corporation has been one of HUST's close and strategic partners. The two sides have jointly implemented many practical cooperation programs such as: opening Japanese language classes sponsored by Sekisho; organizing the annual Sekisho job fair, which continues to expand in scale and quality; and promoting business-student connection activities, skills training, career counseling, and internship support at Japanese enterprises.

This cooperative relationship has gone beyond the scope of a single business and a university, becoming a symbol of Vietnam-Japan education-industry cooperation, directly contributing to the development of high-quality human resources in the era of integration and digital transformation.
