From November 5 to 8, at Nha Trang University, the Ministry of Education and Training hosted the Final Round of the 2025 Science and Technology Awards for students in higher education institutions. Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) participated in the final round with impressive results, winning 2 First Prizes and 9 Second Prizes, becoming the leading institution nationwide at this year's Awards.
A Prestigious Award Spreading the Spirit of Scientific Research Among Students
The Science and Technology Awards for students in higher education institutions is an annual activity organized by the Ministry of Education and Training. It aims to encourage and develop students' scientific research capabilities, contributing to the training of high-quality human resources for national development in the digital and innovation era.
In 2025, the Awards attracted 628 outstanding research projects from 112 higher education institutions across the country. The projects were carefully selected from the institutional level, demonstrating serious investment, creativity, and dedication from students and their supervisors, focusing on science, technology, and innovation issues closely linked to practice.

Student Science and Technology Award is a practical annual activity that contributes to promoting the scientific research movement among students. The goal of the Award is not only to honor academic achievements but also to spark creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the connection of theory with practice during the learning and research process."
In the final round, the Organizing Committee selected and awarded 20 First Prizes and 105 Second Prizes to the most outstanding scientific projects nationwide.

With 2 First Prizes, 9 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 2 Consolation Prizes, Hanoi University of Science and Technology achieved the highest results among the 112 higher education institutions participating in this year's final round. The University was also one of 11 excellent units awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Education and Training for outstanding contributions to student scientific research activities.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology won 2 First Prizes nationally, including 1 First Prize in the field of Natural Sciences (out of a total of 2 national First Prizes) and 1 First Prize in the field of Engineering and Technology (out of a total of 3 national First Prizes), along with 9 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 2 Consolation Prizes in various scientific and engineering fields.
