The key persons of FPT Group joined HUST to inaugurate the Digital Automotive Laboratory

The Inauguration Ceremony of the Digital Automotive Laboratory, a collaborative initiative between the School of Mechanical Engineering, the School of Information and Communication Technology of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), and the FPT Group, taking place on 17 December to effectively support teaching and research activities.

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Phong Dien, HUST Vice President expressed his joy and gratitude in welcoming many key persons of FPT Group to this meaningful event.

On December 18th, 2024, Hanoi University of Science and Technology officially launched the Specialized Advanced Engineering Program in Digital Automotive Engineering, jointly developed by the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Information and Communication Technology in collaboration with the FPT Group. This program is designed to provide Vietnam and the regional labor market with highly capable engineers in two key areas: Automotive software development, and Automotive mechanical design, simulation, and testing,
  In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, Associate Professor Nguyen Phong Dien proudly stated: HUST has many specialized engineering programs. HUST, along with the support of numerous businesses, jointly training high-quality human resources for the domestic and international markets.

“HUST always strives to balance basic and academic training programs to foster profound thinking in students so that they are not overwhelmed by modern technologies when starting to work. Therefore, it’s essential for us to close ties with businesses aimed at developing human resources,” emphasized the Vice President of HUST.

Mr. Chu Quang Huy – Group Human Resources Director, FPT Group affirmed: “HUST is one of the few universities that FPT Group wants to strategically cooperate with."
  According to Mr. Chu Quang Huy, the automotive industry is developing rapidly worldwide, creating a huge demand for human resources. FPT Group believes that in Vietnam, HUST has the best stable training quality. Furthermore, (HUST) is considered one of the top higher education institutions in Asia by the Government.

"I strongly believe that HUTS will receive further investment in upgrading its facilities and strengthening its training programs in the near future," said the Group Human Resources Director of FPT Group.

The close cooperation and partnership between the university and businesses will create the best quality human resources. FPT Group is committed to accompanying and supporting HUST in curriculum design, supporting student internships both domestically and internationally; and being a long-term partner in training students with dynamism, in-depth knowledge, and good foreign language skills.

Thirty licensed software products that are appropriate for HUST students to study and research - the reality of company operations - have been funded by FPT.
