1. Ernst Mach Grant – ASEA-UNINET
   1. Call deadline: March 1^st, 2026! All submitted applications will be considered once the call closes.
   2. Applications: To be submitted via the “apply online!” button in the official grant announcement [https://grants.at/en/?=MzUyMzVfMzcxMDNfMw==]
   3. Monthly grant rate of 1.300 Euro (n.b. for Full PhD scholars, the effective monthly grant rate due to the mobility subsidy is 1.600 Euro)
   4. Music Practice Grant: Application deadline of December 15^th, 2025 and auditions for successful candidates in February, 2026. Further information can be found in the grant’s FAQ [https://oead.at/en/to-austria/grants-and-scholarships/ernst-mach-grant/faq-ernst-mach-grant-asea-uninet#c36256]
   5. Eligibility reminder: Affiliation with an ASEA-UNINET institution is only required for the Postdoc Grant. For the Full PhD/Music Practice Grant, applicants may also be students/alumni of non-ASEA-UNINET member institutions!
2. Ernst Mach– ASEA-UNINET Short-term Research Grant
   1. Call deadline: Ongoing applications! (to be submitted 2-9 months prior to planned research stay)
   2. Applications: To be submitted via the “apply online!” button in the official grant announcement [https://grants.at/en/?=Mzc1NzhfMzk0NTRfMg==]
   3. Monthly grant rate of 1.300 Euro
   4. Travel subsidy reminder: Only eligible for applicants with citizenship of Cambodia/Laos/Myanmar
3. ASEA-UNINET Projects
   1. Upcoming Call: A new project call (implementation period Oct. 2026 – Sep. 2027/2028) will open in February 2026 and close in April 2026. We will inform with another update before the call opens!
   2. Applications: May only be submitted by members of the Austrian ASEA-UNINET (candidate) member universities
   3. Cooperation Partner(s): To find a cooperation partner, please get in touch directly with member universities within the network. You may find the contact details of university coordinators on the ASEA-UNINET homepage [https://asea-uninet.org/network-members/member-universities/austrian-universities/].
